BOOTSTRAP MONTANA TO HOST ENTREPRENEURIAL SEMINARS:

Bozeman, MT., April 9, 2009 – Bootstrap Montana is hosting educational seminars geared toward rural entrepreneurs at the Elks Lodge on May 19, 2009, in Glasgow and in the Hensler Auditorium at MSU-Northern on May 20, 2009, each beginning at 8:30 am. The Bootstrap Montana Seminars will inform business leaders, community members, and individuals interested in entrepreneurship about the philosophy of “bootstrapping,” or building a business with little or no outside investment capital.
The seminar include training on the tenets of bootstrapping a start-up business. They also cover the entrepreneurial best practices in sales, marketing, and finance. Speakers at each event will include:
• Cindy Taylor, Chairwoman of TechRanch, Founder of IPG Consulting
Cindy will teach comprehensive sales planning and strategies.
• Jake Cook, Founder of Sweet Onion Creations
Jake will outline traditional, guerilla, and online marketing best practices.
• Gary Bloomer, Director of Client Development, TechRanch
Gary will discuss the art of thrift and outside funding options.
Gary will also demonstrate cash management planning tools and techniques.
These events are for business leaders, community members, and those interested in entrepreneurship. Lunch will be provided. The educational content will be combined with informal networking sessions for attendees to develop business connections. The cost for each full day including seminar materials and lunch is $20 per person. Registration deadline is Tuesday, May 12th.
