Event Description
The 15th annual Gordon Eldredge Dinner and Auction, a benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County, will be held on Friday, February 6, at the Crowne Plaza of Billings Hotel. A social hour and silent auction, to the music of the 32-member Castlerock Jazz Swing Band under the direction of Tak Engle, begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by a gourmet dinner and live auction.
This year’s theme, “The Cents of Caring, Every Penny Counts,” focuses on the continued need to provide a safe place filled with hope and opportunity, for thousands of area youth who attend one of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County’s three clubhouses, said Jan Dietrich, director of development.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County have been serving young people since 1971. Each day, more than 600 kids attend their three clubhouses: the original Bair Family Clubhouse on Orchard Lane; the Castlerock Clubhouse; and the Lockwood Clubhouse. The Boys and Girls Clubs’ trained professional staff delivers high-quality programs that emphasize education and career development, the arts, character development, life skills and sports and recreation. Membership to the Boys and Girls Clubs costs only $10 per school year.
Students who benefit from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County will be on hand to thank the evening’s patrons for their continued support, especially during the live auction, which will feature a wide selection of items, including: jewelry donated by Montague’s of Montana; trips to New York, Las Vegas, and to a Denver Broncos game; artwork; gourmet dinners, and more.
Tickets to the 15th annual Gordon Eldredge Dinner and Auction are $75, and table sponsorship is available. Attire for the evening is business casual.
