    An early morning stabbing Friday sent one man to the hospital with several stab wounds. According to the Helena Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of 11th Avenue just after 1:30am.  A press release states there was a physical altercation involving several people, with one man being stabbed several times with a knife.  Everyone involved has been identified; no arrests have yet been made. The investigation is ongoing.

    Montana Highway Patrol has confirmed the victim in a fatal accident early Sunday morning is a 40-year-old Idaho man. According to MHP, the man was driving a Yamaha Sport motorcycle westbound on US Highway 2. He was wearing a helmet, and speed is suspected to be a factor. Troopers tell us the accident happened right on the state line in Lincoln County just before 3:00am.

For more information, you're asked to contact the Bozeman Ranger District or Region Three of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
