Kristen graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December of 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. While attending school she was able to intern at a local media company where she began working for their radio station. After completing her internship, she was hired on as a Production Assistant and the promoted to an on-air weather position. It was during this time she fell in love with telling the story of the weather and decided to pursue it as her career. She is currently attending Mississippi State’s on-line Broadcast Meteorology Program to obtain her Broadcast Meteorology certification.

 

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Alex and their two cats, Meesa and Friday. She also likes to go to the movies, cook, and travel when time allows.
