Penny Preston
Penny Preston brings more than twenty years award winning broadcast journalism experience to KULR-8.  She’s Northwest Wyoming’s first local television reporter. She’s covered Northwest Wyoming news for five years as an award-winning reporter for Casper’s KTWO-TV, and News Director for Big Horn Radio Network.
Penny came to Wyoming from Colorado, where she was reporter and anchor for KKTV-11 in Colorado Springs. Penny’s experience has taken her to KTVT in Dallas/Ft. Worth, KJRH-TV 2 in Tulsa, WTVF-TV 5 in Nashville, and KTHV-TV 11 in Little Rock.
The University of Arkansas Department of Journalism presented Penny the “Distinguished Journalism Award,” and later invited her to teach Broadcast Journalism as a visiting lecturer.
Penny shoots, writes, and edits her own television productions. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband, Dr. Charles Preston.
Dr. Preston is the Founding Curator of the newly opened Draper Museum of Natural History in Cody. Penny and Chuck consider Northwest Wyoming the home they’ve always wanted.
