Job Opening: Promotions Manager
Job Description: Full Time position
Job Start Date: December 1st, 2009

Job Duties: Develop, write and edit video for local News promotional campaigns, including daily, Sweeps and specialty projects. Implement Sales and News marketing strategies and coordinate local News and Sales events. Assist in daily traffic input for NBC Comp and Swap programs, local promotions and PSA’s. Update and add promotional website components, as well as promotional elements for the WeatherNOW 8.2 digital channel. Plan and coordinate yearly Radio and Print advertising to publicize News, Station, and Sales events. Participate in community involvement, including serving on media committee’s, and Sales sponsorship exploration. Must have good decision making abilities and leadership skills that build consensus and positive inter-department relations. Will work closely with Production Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications: 2 Years Marketing or Communications related experience. Computer skills a must; candidate must be fluent in a variety of applications including word processing, spreadsheet, data entry, and photo manipulation. Non-Linear editing skills are a definite plus.
