Job Opening: Newscast Director/Technical Director KULR-8, in Billings, MT is looking for a full-time director. Responsibilities include directing live newscasts, breaking news, pre-production and special projects. This person will be in charge of the on-air look of daily newscasts in conjunction with producers. This person will direct other technical employees involved in the daily news effort. A Journalism degree or applicable experience is required. This person must be capable of directing and switching fast-paced multi-camera co-anchored newscasts. They must be able to keep a cool head under pressure and work well with others. KULR-8 in Billings, MT is seeking an organized and energetic person to produce our weekday 6 pm and 10pm newscasts. Candidates should have strong writing skills and good news judgment. Development of new and non-traditional business as well as enhance existing revenue is required.
